Shawn Carver is fascinated by data science. Combine this with a career spent carefully watching market trends and listening to people on the ground, and you’ve got a technology innovator whose ideas are as effective as they are timely. As Fiddlehead Technology’s co-founder and CEO, Shawn is excited to be helping food and beverage manufacturers, distributors and retailers benefit from premium data insights.

As a highly sought-after advisor to new and emerging IT companies, Shawn has provided assistance in areas such as market analysis, product roadmaps and establishing a business model to over eighty technology companies. Shawn is committed to helping build a strong IT community in Atlantic Canada, serving two years on the board of technology accelerator program Propel ICT, and working directly with emerging technology startups as a mentor at Launch 36.

Matt Shaw

VP Engineering


Matt Shaw has spent his 18-year career in technology developing his expertise across multiple areas of focus - from infrastructure operations to enterprise architecture. Past experience includes working as a senior analyst and technical architect in the telecommunications industry and later as a software engineering and architecture consultant to a diverse portfolio of local and global companies.

As Fiddlehead’s VP Engineering, Matt is focused on building the best technical team in Atlantic Canada. Together, Matt and his team are developing simple, elegant technology solutions to the complex problems facing his customers.
